Description:
Here is one of the best quality Pathe cylinders I have
heard so far. This cylinder is manuractured by Pathe,
but was sold by another retailer called "Au Stentor".
As a reminder, Stentor is the french naming of the
larger Concert size cylinders. Of course, this cylinder
was also sold by Pathe directly.
Mary Boyer was a famous soprano singer. She was born
on 15th May 1869 at Poite-a-Pitre (Guadeloup), and
died in 1951. She recorded many cylinders and discs

here to see some of her recordings for Pathe).
Her brother, Alexis Boyer, also recorded many titles.
This cylinder has been transferred using the
Archeophone
cylinder player.
